ISP chase ends in fatal shooting near Lewiston

Lewiston, Idaho (AP)

One man was shot to death and another was critically wounded by an Idaho State Police officer after a high-speed chase that began on the Nez Perce Reservation near Lewiston, the FBI said.

State police said the officer, whose name was not released, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries after the shooting the evening of May 19, but was not seriously hurt.

The WHOLE thing just wreaks...the ISP is trying to cover up. they say the men were drunk and driving wildly, some tribal members say the men just came from a sweat. I know the witnesses, and the ISP interrogated one for HOURS on end trying to convince her to SAY out loud some stuff that just ISNT true. The Cop, was sent up from boise he has a HISTORY of being quick to draw his gun. Bad judgement on both parties, but its sickening how quickly the ISP is trynna cover up the whole situation.
