The Arizona Supreme Court on May 20 upheld the state’s map of legislative districts, providing the final word in a long-standing case with political high stakes for politicians and voters alike.
The ruling means the current map for the state’s 30 legislative districts can be used again in the 2010 election. A new map will be drawn after the 2010 Census for use the rest of the next decade.
