The state's American Indian tribes could receive more than $81 million in refunds over the next two years if a proposed cigarette tax increase passes the Legislature.
The cigarette tax would increase by 75 cents to $2.52 per pack in September under the proposal to be debated by the Legislature's Joint Finance Committee.
