Anchorage, Alaska (AP)
As Anchorage went about its business of spring cleaning and gearing up for gardening, liberated after a long winter, energized by the sun, four men died alone in the woods one after another during a 10-day stretch of an otherwise exceptionally pleasant May.
Bad news for a city that tries to do right by its homeless. Sad news for those they left behind.
