Akwesasne Mohawk Territory (NFIC) After 42 days, the bridge across the St. Lawrence River spanning Canada and the United States through Akwesasne has opened.
"While we're glad to see a temporary facility open, we want to remind everyone that there are some outstanding issues that need to be addressed," said Mike Mitchell, newly elected Grand Chief to the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne.
