A man shot by a tribal officer on the Pine Ridge Reservation has been charged with assaulting a federal officer.
Court documents say 25-year-old Robert Little is accused of attacking Oglala Sioux Officer DaDrea Rabeler after she tried to arrest him for public drunkenness on July 12. Rabeler first tried to use Mace to subdue Little, then turned to her gun when the spray did not work.
