A man accused of assaulting a tribal officer on the Pine Ridge Reservation before being shot by her has pleaded not guilty in federal court.
Twenty-five-year-old Robert Little of Pine Ridge is accused of attacking Oglala Sioux Officer DaDrea Rabeler after she tried to arrest him for public drunkenness on July 12. He faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
