Coeur d’Alene tribal leaders reappointed Chairman Chief Allan to the post he’s held since 2005.
The northern Idaho tribe announced the move on May 3, which followed tribal elections that concluded on May 1.
Two seats had been up for grabs on the seven-person council in the contest: Charlotte Nilson won a second three-year term, while Alfred Nomee was elected to council for the open seat.
