Former Three Affiliated Tribes Chairman Tex Hall says he will seek the position again, possibly setting up a repeat of the 2006 election showdown on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation.
Hall served two terms as chairman before losing to current Chairman Marcus Levings in 2006. Levings said during late July he would not seek a second term but later changed his mind.
Levings beat Hall by more than 200 votes in 2006, but the contest dragged on for months while Hall unsuccessfully appealed his loss to the National Indian Gaming Commission and tribal courts.
