  • French Bread Pizza

Easiest, fastest, and best pizza ever!

    1 load French Bread
1 cup pizza or spaghetti sauce
2 cups monzarella cheese (or more!)
    Assorted favorite pizza toppings

Cut a loaf of Frech Bread in half.
Spread spaghetti or pizza sauce over surface of bread.

Put on your first layer of toppings. First layer should be anything that's already cooked or doesn't need to be cooked: cooked sausage, olives, canadian bacon, ham, cooked hamburger, tomatoes, etc...

2nd layer is Monzarella cheese - shredded or sliced. Sliced is probably better.

Top layer: Pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers, etc... ( I like my pepperonis to get toasty)

Place on baking sheet and cook in a hot oven until cheese is melted. What I like to do is place it in the middle of the oven and put it on broil (electric oven) until the cheese is nice and melty.

A toaster oven would be great, just cut it to fit.

You can serve it whole or slice it into sections.
    ...it is what it is...

I think I'll go home and make some more.

A good Tex Mex version is to use the LaVictoria Red Taco Sauce (its about the consistency of pizza sauce), taco seasoned ground beef, then pepperjack (or any cheese), and top with sliced jalapenos and olives. Yummers!

Anybody got any hot weather favorites?

I love grilled cheese and tomato sammiches! butter, bread, 1 slice of cheese, 1 thin slice of fresh tomato, a bit of fresh basil, another slice of cheese, bread, butter - in that order.

Grilled on low heat until the cheese is all...

Spinach Artichoke Dip (or side dish)
              by wyo_rose
I could have sworn I posted this before, but couldn't find it, or any other recipe, so I came up with my own. It's great with tortilla chips, french bread, or just as a side dish. Even confirmed spinach haters love this dish!

Cook 1 package frozen spinach according to directions and...

I got a couple good recipes from cooking over an open fire this past weekend. My friend was telling me some more recipes and tips, but I forgot half of what she said. If anybody has more recipes or tips, let me know.
