            sweet pea salad

Two cans of sweet peas (drained)
(sorry, but I don't measure anything, just eyeball it)...:)
            chopped onion
            chopped pickle
            4 boiled chopped eggs
            ham or bacon
            mayo
            salt/pepper

This recipe is like pasta salad; it gets better each day. Might sound a little yucky, but try it. IT ROCKS! :)

BTW u can take the above recipe & sub a bag of frozen veggies for the spinach & mushrooms or you can add a bag of frozen corn in place of the spinach & still use mushrooms

Thanks you guys. Both recipes sound wonderful.

My daughter had pea salad somewhere and wanted to know a recipe.

And the soup sounds quick, easy, and delicious.

Next time, just start a new thread so the recipes don't get lost on here.

                        Gabubu Bread

From Marilyn Charging Crow on Facebook

~Gabubu Bread Recipe~~3 cups flour 3 tsp. baking powder 3 spoons dry milk 2 spoons sugar 2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 C. water 1/2 C. oil NOTE: I used the term spoon cause mom never measures exactly. The spoon equals about 1/3 - 1/2 cup. Mix the first five (5) dry ingredients well.

Make a hole in the middle of the bowl. Pour the water and oil in the hole. Mix together with spoon then by hand. Don't handle the dough too much. Just enough to mix everything together. The dough should be soft.

Heat about 2 tablespoon oil ...(enough to keep from burning the bread) in skillet low heat. Divide dough in half or thirds. Depending on how big and thick you want your bread. Then take your dough and flatten with your hand to desired width/thickness. The bread will rise by about 1/3 - 1/2 thickness.

Let cook about 15-20 minutes. Oil lightly on top then turn over to finish cooking. Cook until done and tops/bottoms are browned.

You can also make biscuits with this recipe. Instead of putting in skillet you roll out on lightly floured table top, cut out biscuits and bake 15/20 minutes 350 degrees.

Our local deli makes some great Chicken Enchiladas and I tried many times to recreate their sauce with canned soup, cream cheese, and other variations. Finally I found a recipe that is simple and DEELISH!!

1 cup cooked chicken, diced or shredded...
