  • Worchestershire Burger Salad and dressing

    1 pound hamburger
    4 Tablespoons Worchestershire Sauce
3 Tablespoons butter (or olive oil)
    1/2 onion thinly sliced
    1 head lettuce, shredded
    1/2 Cucumber sliced thin
    1/4 cup shredded cheese
2 Tablespoons brown or dijon mustard
1/2 cup pomegranite juice (or cranberry, grape, or other strong flavored juice)
    2 tablespoons vinegar
    Steak Seasoning

Make 3 loosely packed patties and put in to fry in a hot skillet. Season up well with your favorite steak seasoning, and/or onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, pepper, and whatever. When nice and crusty on the first side, turn over and season up. Get it nice and crusty and flip again. Top with 2 tablespoon Worchestershire and add a tablespoon butter. Break it up into pieces and cook until well done. Turn down the heat and saute the onion slices, browning well, and turning once. Remove onion and add the rest of the Worchestershire, butter, vinegar, mustard and juice. Bring to a boil, then simmer and reduce by half.

Layer your lettuce, meat, shredded cheese, sauted onion, cucumber, and any other salad veggies. Top with the hot dressing.

I don't know if I was just hungry, but this was an EXCELLENT dinner tonight.
