Pow Wow Feed Ideas

How about some ideas on what to take to pow-wow feeds?

Since I call myself the Pow Wow Pollock, I've been working on the Three Sisters with keilbasa, but I'm not too happy with it so far. It's edible but it's not really great. it may be because I've been using Cope's dried corn and it might be too sweet. I want to try canned white corn next time.

Or try dried ndn corn - the dry whole ones. Or maybe hominy.

Soup or stew is always good: beef stew, green chili, regular chili, chicken noodle with homemade noodles, macaroni soup, corn soup, wild rice soup

A good side is potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw, mac and cheese, scalloped potatoes, baked beans , fruit salad

Casseroles are easy to make and serve: lasagna, baked pasta, tamale pie, spoon burgers...

I'm actually hungry enough to eat menudo. I like the flavor but end up chewing the 'pieces' like bubble gum.

Sounds like good powwow food.

Another good side is rice: Spanish rice, Mexican rice, rice with broccoli and cheez whiz, chicken fried rice, rice and beans, rice and raisins, rice and hamburger gravy, rice-a-roni

evryone I know really goes for beef brisket or beef roast, but im 100% carnivore.
