Is there away to stop those ads with the sound from coming on? It all started with that Shao Kahn ad and know there is that starwars one and the paparazzi one. I tried right clicking on them to mute them but that option doesn't come up. The only way I've found to stop them is to refresh the page so a different ad will load in its place, but is there any other way? I use firefox and even that can't prevent them.

I havent heard of the other ones, but that damn shao kahn ad is pretty damn annoying, especially if im trying to watch a powwow video or something. I would click on the ad, and minimize the window it would open, but it would make that noise anyway! That doesnt even sound like Shao KahnMr Oakley was here

Yeah they are annoying! That endless "kyah, kyah, kyah...", lol. I do understand the need for ads to bring in revenue, though, and i don't mind ads in general, some of them are fun and as long as they don't generate a billion pop-ups it's all good. It's just the ones with noise that are so annoying, especially if you're watching a video, you can't mute your speakers cuz then you can't hear the music. You have to refresh and reload the whole video.Comment
