Hey ya'll, do you agree with me that on this new pws.com site that you're password should NOT be visible when logging in?
Paul, if you're reading this, there are 2 problems with this. For one, many people use only 2-4 passwords for all of their emails, banking, and everything else. If someone were standing behind me, they could see my password and possibly break into any number of my personal online accounts.
Secondly, in Windows XP Home edition (I'm not that techy so if it applies to others OS's or if that's not really the name of mine, I apologize) but anyway, when you type in search boxes or type in webaddresses or when you are logging into anything on line, it will SAVE your login name. So when you start to type something, a drop down menu appears and you can select from a number of previous usernames or whatever was typed in there before. Well, with passwords, this does not work. However, because the password on pws.com is visible, it now saves it and when I start to type something my password pops up. Again, this is not safe because somebody could figure out a password.
Obviously for now my solution will be to change my password on pws.com to something original and only used here...it just sucks because now I have ANOTHER password to remember of the 50 I already use...
