  • All the LIKEs are Gone

Is this a glitch or permanent? The likes are gone from the posts and all the likes given and received are gone. And there are broken links to some pictures.

I had to make a change on the forums yesterday. I didn't realize it would affect the likes, but I see why it did now.

I was using a add on product called vBSEO. It changed the url of the forum pages to something more friends. Supposedly this would help the search engines index the pages.

That was probably true several years ago. Now the engines don't need help!

And recently the company that produced vBSEO went under. They no longer offer support and they website is now offline.

In addition there was a security flaw found in their software. Since I can't get support now, I decided the best thing to do was to remove it.

Unfortunately it is going to cause some issues.

If you have links to threads or bookmarks, they may not work now.

The likes are probably stored by the old address of the threads, so those may not work now.

I apologize for these problems. But I just had to remove the band aid and move on from their software.

    Thanks!

I know, it always hurts like crazy when you take the band-aids off!!

      Thanks for the update, Paul.

Looks like a whole layer of skin came off too. Some of the avatars are missing now. And some of the gifts, and the .... wow - that was a huge band-aid!

I read that one. And there are lots more threads about it.

I hope to upgrade the forums to a newer vBulletin soon. And when I do that I'll need to remove vBSEO. So now was the best time to remove it.

I know you did what you had to do, but the website is kinda messed up.

Smilies gone, links not working ... just bummed.

We'll work to fix all the problems.

Can you all start posting links to issues you see.

                    Thanks

                            Boozhoo niji,

I know this one is gonna start some fires, so be it. This have been bugging me for a couple of months and now I am bringing it out into the open for everyone to attack, flame, ridicule and possibly even get banned over.

I was at work a couple of days ago,...

I love reality shows. Real people (i think) doing things that tv stars get to to everyday. Lately I have seen a reality show on every single station including sattelite, and cable. When does it go to far or has television already done that.. I hope the networks dont burn the viewers out on too much...

I'm trying to find out if PCOS/Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome is a problem within native people. I myself was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 21 (now 27). And I'm wondering if there is any research being done within the tribes regarding this medical issue. Anyone here have it?
