Sorry i didn't participate, I was sending packjages to a friend and his dad, yes they both were deployed around the same time. Will this be done on a constant basis or can you give us a name and address? I was sending monthly packages for a while, but both them came home. can't send alot, but can send something. PM me if need be.

Paul, I just wanted to say that in giving your time and energy organizing this project, you have, once again, given more than you realize. . . my mail last week contained a 'thank you' postcard from Baghdad - from a GI I don't know who got one of the packages. [COLOR=SeaGreen]Just wanted to say "Ah-ho-Thank You" on behalf of our soldier son, he did receive the care package from powwows.com and was happy to read about all the indian happenings/newspapers, etc. and was glad to see his uncle lewis in the whispering wind magazine, it was a nice gesture to do this for the troops, every little thing they receive helps while they are so far from home, again, thank you so much God Bless you all and also, "God Bless our Troops"

I, too, am amazed at the lack of response from the site. My donation was modest to be sure, but I mailed it out the day I read your original post and sat back waiting to read about the flood of other donations. Perhaps it was just a really bad year for 'giving' with all the disasters worldwide and the economy being what it is . . .

Thanks to those of you that have participated. And we really appreciate the corporate support.
However I'm very disappointed with the response from the site. Lots of you asked for another Holiday project. And many of you emailed to tell how excited you were about this project. To date, I've only recieved about 5 donations from members and 1 letter.
I know that those who recieve the packages will be very excited. The corporate support has provided some nice items.
But because of lack of support this will our last project during the Holidays.
