PowWows.com is looking for an experienced, dynamic, creative Editor to lead the continued development of our articles section.
Our Editor In Chief will be responsible for all content in our articles portion of PowWows.com.
Tasks and Responsibilitie Include:
-- Work with authors to develop and publish new articles
-- Proof all articles
-- Recruit authors
-- Moderate Comments
-- Optimize website content for search
-- Coordinate with Social Media Director to promote new content via social networks
This is part time contract position. The position will require 3-5 hours per week.
Compensation
The Editor In Chief will be given a monthly compensation. We will also work with the person to develop goals and targets for our articles section. Bonuses will be paid for reaching those targets.
Required Skills
-- Excellent writing, reporting, and editing skills
-- Great organizational skills
-- Familiarity with Pow Wows and PowWows.com
