I'm with Stacey and Candae, gotta have my coffee in the morning. I know what ya mean Josiah, everyone rushes the grocery store at the first hint or forecast of snow or bad weather, going to Wal-Mart is a real drag on those days. People act like they'll be housebound for a month or something.

Been listening to this new CD I got the other day by Medicine Tail, "We Sing For You!" It was recorded at IICOT this last summer, really cool for me since I was there and gourd danced there that day, saw them recording, been waiting forever for this to come out. Good singing too. I really like them, got another one of their's, along with Midnite Express and Southern Boyz, three of my fav groups.

People up here at my work are absolutely freaking about this weather that we are supposed to get. There are people already getting their alibi ready so they can call in tomorrow. lol....State employee mentality....I'll tell ya.
I made sure to pick up at least 6 loaves of bread, a couple of jars of cheez whiz, a can of spam or 2 and a bag of sugar. We are set and I'm ready, bring it on. *l

what?? no toilet paper? Or do you have plenty of old newspapers? Brace up friends and neighbors, hopefully we won't be like that ol Paul Simon song, "Slip Slidin Away", but it's kinda lookin that way.

They said to prepare for the worst b/c it may be as bad as we think. I hope not. I need my electricity. I better stock up on smokes and diet pop, some bread, bologna, cereal and milk (can keep the milk outside if the elec. goes out. *L*) I have a couple of good books I can break into as well.

I'll be here bright and early in the morning though. When is the storm actually going to reach the state??? Anyone????

I heard it will start in the morning and then get kicked up a notch by mid-afternoon. I hope we don't loose our electricity either....that would suckers....

Good Morning. Gaw, out of 11 people in my group there are 3 of us here this morning. They pop fresh popcorn up here on Friday so it would take more than a little cold air to keep me from missing out on that.

I did hear that the sleet had started coming down in Yukon a little bit ago.
