I have not been to a powwow in several weeks!!!!
So what are some upcoming Powwows in the next few weeks or Month????

StreamHawk are you going to Sequoyah this year I think its toward the end of Feb or 1st week of March

I was thinking the same thing the other day, it's been right over a month now, feeling the withdrawal's, lol. You talking about the high school dance? Yeah, I really enjoyed that last year, I thought those kids did a great job.....fed us real good too! I gotta start keeping a journal or something of powwow's so I know what's coming up, I attended so many last year, I can't remember what was when, think my rough total was 27 for the year. Yes, I'll definitely be there.

Do you ever find any good ones in Missouri? I think most of the ones in my area are of the fake/wannabe variety. Kiowakat tells me the good ones are few and far between here.

I have heard of one in Sedalia seems i read Cherosage mentioning it awhile back
I think it was in the summer months
But i know of hardly any up that way

there is one that is right on the border with OK, ummm....can't think of the name, Seneca maybe? It's good. The ones I've heard of that are good, not wannabe, are generally almost too far for me to drive and be back the same day, usually how I do it. Let me know if you hear about good ones up your way. There is one close to me here, on Father's Day in June, close to Eureka Springs, at the big cat rescue place, Turpentine Creek, it's fun, got that powwow drum going and big cats growling at dinnertime, can't beat that, and the hill top view there is really nice!

There is one close to me here, on Father's Day in June, close to Eureka Springs, at the big cat rescue place, Turpentine Creek, it's fun, got that powwow drum going and big cats growling at dinnertime, can't beat that, and the hill top view there is really nice!

That's about 4 hours from me, but sure sounds worth the drive!

no prob, you're welcome! It's not the best powwow going, it has a few hitches, but they're working on it, but like I said, it's fun. Plus, if you decide to stay over, there's Eureka, and that is cool.

Nope not this week i was informed when i got to work today that my services will be required for a 6th day
good thing they pay me overtime
Funny thing is when they usually tell me to work my 6th day i wind up working very little because i am waiting on someone else to get finished
