hey WhoMe, the cold is here with authority, good chance of snow tomorrow night into thursday morning. We miss YOU at OK powwow's! Good to hear you got one this weekend, sing one for us, I'll dance one for you this weekend!

I got the call last night about the powwow in Tahlequah this weekend, so that's good, did my calling duties, pulling at least two more dancers to the gathering, had good conversations so it was a good night. Hope the weather holds for us this weekend, I know it's gonna be cold, here it's supposed to be about 26 as a high on Saturday, maybe the sun will break out like it did last year. Lookin forward to this weekend!!

yep, I'm so ready to dust off my dance clothes, get my feet to moving to the drum, and shake a rattle! Tahlequah is getting to be like my second home for sure. Josiah, you ought to try to come to Bell this year, I really think you'd like it, lots of dancers, and it's good and hot there!!

There's one Feb. 24th in Tecumseh at Tecumseh Square honoring the '06 Miss, Jr. Miss, and Little Miss Indian OKC's.

season is starting up already eh? Good. I don't know of any others as of yet, but that one on the 17th is for a good cause, a benefit for the native kids from Tahlequah high school. I'll be there for sure.

by the way, the lady from Sequoyah told me to arrive as early as possible, they are having a basketball game with Riverside at the same time gourd dancing starts, so parking may be a bit of an issue.
