Oklahoma Thread: Goot Men and goot looking women

HA-WEH, Oklahoma Natives it's "Goot" to be Native American and to be in Oklahoma! We've got lots to look forward too! Shouts to all! HO-TA (holler)!

Nativemah, DAE-OHN-DAE K'-TY-GYAH. It is hard to bounce both Native American and European culture's together at the same time but, it can be done. Girl take that job, that's "Goot"! You've got to have a J-O-B to make it in this world we live in today.

Where's WhoMe? I've been waiting on his "TruLove's report"? Just like everyone has been, I'm sure. Dang, I didn't think he would MIA this long. He's got job. I tried to wait, thinking he would post his many coup's that he counted over the Red Earth week-end. AYE, I'm started to get worried about that guy. He might be in the North County by now.(WAY)

Hello to all you Native Okies! Red Earth was pretty good but I really hate to pay those ticket prices when I can see the sam e dancers for free at the next powwow. I know its just a money making powwow but still I feel upset when I have to pay $10 for me and $7.50 for my daughter. That's messed up. Anyway the singing and dancing were goot. I didn't stay for all the winners to be announced. Does anyone have the out come of the contests?

Ah-ho Wa-zha-zhe. I will find out about the job tomorrow. I sure do want this. I will be a web designer for the Comanche Nation. That is what I got my degree in. Hope to make it to Hominy anyhow.

True Loves was rockin' dispite the $8.00 cover charge. Both nights were a "snagger's paradise" with lots of good lookin' skins! Dang, some of them even 'dressed up!'

Friday night, it was comfortable. There were plenty of people and enough singers to jam.

Saturday night was crowded! There were enough singers for two drums. So we had two drums! Lot's of women singers were swinging and swaying to tunes like:

"Too hell with, your old man"
"Black Jack Daisy"
"The pizza song"

and many others too numerous to mention.


Lot's of visitors came in who were in town for all the weekend's festivities!

Snagger's Paradise!!Man I totally missed out. Naw, thats aight. Are you gonna put together a 9 for Indian Hills? That would be kewl. My cousin used to rent a vacant field and charge $5 a person to 9 during Red Earth a few years back.

Im gonna be head man over there so if u come say hi, it would be nice to meet some cyber powwowers lolol. anyways its june 24th 25th n 26. There is hand game and stomp dance on the 24th, then the powwow starts on saturday. Its contest too, with decent prize money.
