My nephews little girl called my daughter Amber hammburg-gerrr... "Where's Hammburg-gerrrrrr at?" I want to see Hammburg-gerrrrr.""We see it as a desecration not only of a mountain but of our way of life. This is a genocidal issue to us. My little sister used to call fishes, horses and horses, fishes. :)
I used to call buffalo, fuffalo.
My nephew Isaac has a stutter and it is just cute.
My friend has kids named Gannon and Rheannon. If you ask Gannon what his sisters name is, he'll say "ReGannon".
Thats all that I can think of for now.People almost invariably arrive at their beliefs not on the basis of proof but on the basis of what they find attractive.

Cute Thread!!! :D
When my daughter was 2...she was crying one afternoon for her "mushies"... I couldnt figure out what she was talking about. Later that nite when I took out her pajamas to get her ready for bed... she got all happy and gleefully called out.. "MUSHIES!!!!!!!!" To this day... we still call 'em mushies.. and several of our frens use that term too; Chewy, Mel, Riah and Byron. :D
My cousin taught my daughter to say... "I need to go MUD" when she had to use the restroom. She still uses that to this day too. "MOM!! Cam went MUD!" which means I gotta come change him!! (he's 19 months!)
My nephew couldnt say my daughter's name... (Audrey) so when he was little he called her LAUNDRY. He still calls her that. He's now 13 and she's 12. :lol2:

I have a few!
My family calls my middle daughter boiget (pronounced like boy-jet) which means short tail and when she would say it, it would come out bullsh*t!!
Our neighbors granddaughter could not pronounce my daughter's name, Tasheena or they called her tasheen, so she just called her machine.
My sister used to call mosquitoes-spagettos and spagetti-mosgetti.:huddle: Learn to associate with the white man, learn his ways, get an education. With an education, you are his equal; without it, you are his victim. - Chief Plenty Coups, Crow

when my niece was around 2 years old she would open her mouth really big when you would say COOKIE. It didn't matter how far away you could be from here, you would say COOKIE and she would go ahhhhhh!!!!...... It was crazy, it became a game in our house. She's in her early 20's now and i still walk up to her and "sometimes" go.... Hey jennny.... COOKIE!!!!

One of my sister-inlaws when see was a baby just learning to talk would say *uck. This lasted for about two weeks before my mother-inlaw figured out what the problem was. It happened always at dinner, and going out to eat was a hoot. My father-inlaw was in the dog house for teaching her such words.... She was saying FORK!!!! Man i still laugh thinking about her yelling *uck,*uck,*uck while at a resturant, and other people are just horrified.
