I think its called "Hip Hop" now a days...lol...its loud and is usually accompanied with vulgar language, i personally like it better than music thts "Britney-esc"(Pop)

I agree that rap music isnt music at all. I generally like rock and rave. And some rap I do make an exception for like Kanye West hes funny! And he doesnt curse like all the others do. He might say a word he or there but everyone does. I also like Missy elliot because she always has awsome beats!

I like some hip hop..dont really care for the "gangster rap" or the "beeotches and hoes" or the wannabe native rappers well ive seen very few good ones :P cuz they all rap about same ol bs drinkin smokin partyin bein a blood or a crip and again beeotches and hoes. Im sure there is talent among some i just havnt seen it.

There is a diff as far as i'm concerned, the hardcore stuff is rap...with all the beeotches and hoes, and whatnot the subject matter is diff alotta the time. Hip-hop is fun stuff like sugar hill gang's "rappers delight" I like to think of missy elliot as more hip hop shes fun and makes ya wanna dance.

I CANNOT stand Rock, Metal, Alternative, or whatever their trynna call it this week. I cant stand techno, or any of that...it doesnt make anysense and just blurrs together Plus alotta them people cant even really sing, they just throw in a ton of synthesizers and such... SO as it is

I like rap when it's mixed with other stuff, like Kid Rock's stuff. I also like the Bloodhound Gang LOL.. man that just cracks me up! I like some native Rap like litefoot and boys on da rez, but not Natay. His is boring. And of course I like Run DMC and Ice T but I don't own any of their stuff.. just like it when i hear it. Will Smith is'nt bad either and he's pretty clean and does a great job of mixing!

Hey man...I love Lords of Acid!!! I love pretty much anything but country (even like it if i'm buzzed enough *L* j/k!). I have rap, reggae, top 40, classical, hard rock, metal, alternative, motown and even some techno thrown into my cd collection. I noticed though the rap I like is silly rap. Like the beats of Tupac, Eminem, Method...they're all really weird, if you listen to them. All about You by Tupac..fav. song..but listen to how silly the music is. I don't know..maybe I'm just into psychotic beats since I love techno too. *L* It's all gravy

i usually prefer rock to be rock n hip hop to be hip hop...i don't really care for kid rock unless hes truly singing..his rappin wuz off lol..n aerosmith w/ run dmc i didn't like at all..jus the rock version...although i really like linkin park...but mainly the singing...
hip hop can be really kewl w/o all that hoes n *****es nonsense..but i prefer old school hip hop...todays "hip hop" is just junk..it all sounds the same..
