OMG! I was on the other side of the room, when the baby crashed a statue on his head from about five feet up on a shelf. It came tumbling down. . .landed smack on his little head! :( Fortunately, it didn't have any sharp edges. But man he has a cut there. . .not too deep, but just deep enough to worry about it. I had a put a band aid on his head--that should be "fun" getting it out. Poor guy. :Cry

Gah. Poor thing. And you're right about the 20 minutes Rose, I could munch on that happy meal all day..................

I fully expected the goose egg to come up, but so far, nothing. He sat surprsingly still for about 30 mintues afterwards. We watched TV and I held an ice pack on his head. That probably helped keep the swelling down. But pupils are dialating and then going back to normal when I shine the pen light in his eyes, he's not acting sleepy and he has eaten and had something to drink--with not throwing up. I don't think he had a concusion--thank goodness!

So, Hot Mama, I'm still planning on coming to Stroud unless my back goes out or my traveling partner decides she does not want to make the drive up there. I'll keep you posted if things change. :)

Yep, most happy meals will last an hour or two. Don't I have a free happy meal coupon somewhere. I WISH.....:(

Well, Traci. If you're sure he's OK, I wouldn't worry. But if you're not sure, it's ALWAYS a good idea to take him in to be seen. Sounds like he'll be fine tho.

Since there's no happy meals around, I need me a big ole lunch!! Manwich sounds good. :p Even a Hungry Man dinner. MANhatten rolls....manhatten clam chowder....
