WD, sharks don't eat gators, it's the other way 'round. About the only thing that eats a gator is a bigger gator.
Kansas sharks are meaner than gators !

Was rudely awakened about 5 this morning ! Hail ! About the size of a quarter. So , this is Kansas , when you get hail you should prepare to find shelter from that tornado that usually trails along just after ! Generally right before a tornado everything stops ! The rain , hail , wind , everything ! That's when you know you better get safe quickly cause at that point you have about 2 minutes ! Luckily for us the storm raged on ! Another 2 inches of rain.Tonight they say we'll get a couple more. And maybe a couple more tomorrow ! The rivers around here are already bank full. After some more tomorrow though it will all clear out and we'll be 60 and sun on the weekend !Everyone stay safe , stay healthy , and try to stay dry ! LOL

    That looks GOOD

I really do want a fried baloney sammich.

So funny, every time I have one I remember this patient I had. He had just been extubated after a major heart surgery, and I was wondering if he was native, until he said "Man, I just want a fried baloney sandwich."

    Then I knew.
I'm partial to miracle whip. Just sayin.

It was Tuesday. I'm happy. I just had my alambres -- loads of peppers, cactus and mushrooms, with just enough steak. Too few corn tortillas or too much food; I'm not sure which. I had to warm a couple flour tortillas to fill in the gap.

My Siamese ate a quarter of the chipotle crema while I was nuking the tortillas. I'm not sure how this is going to sit with her kitty tummy.

Here, BA, have a mutton sandwich:

BA, Bologna sandwich I suspect jail bologna is not the best example of bologna.

I'd offer you a banh mi thit nuong with extra veggies, cilantro and pate from Banh Mi Viet. With a couple chicken summer rolls and a salty lemonade.

I am not sure what those sandwiches are but at shooting range at Agna / Italy they had very good salame panino or salami rolls. At least that says the dictionary. Salmi Brötchen.

I'll offer "Salami Brötchen" with coffee in the afternoon and for breakfast.

I am very relirfed that my Mom got her second shot on Friday and had only marginal side effects which may even have been caused by weather. Headaches.

Vaccination feels like a gigantic organizational chaos and politicians taken their mouth much to full with promises where they can guarantee nothing and I think, mostly now nothing about procedures.

LOL, with the speed and the reduced shots for vaccination, I wonder if I will get a shot in 2021. If you believe teachers will be vaccinated as a whole group because of priority, that is wrong only those in kindergarten and elementary school have a priority.

They should vaccinate the nurses, docs, eldery care nurses, police, fire fighters first and elders first as fast as possible. Well they are on the high priority list with those above 80 with the highest priority.

Stay safe, keep faith though it is getting more difficult.

Oh and rain, more rain. But the fairy over the Maas is still going.

Rain , rain , rain.........we've probably had 6" or more ! Our pasture looks like a lake !The horses have grown webbed feet ! Eyes tries to look on the bright side ! She said " well , we could get a boat and go fishing!" I said we can't go out there , there's probably sharks ! She said " at least there are no alligators !" , to which I quickly pointed out: Cause the sharks ate them all !
Anyway , it's cleared out for tonight , they say storms tomorrow and again Wednesday ! Hopefully then it will start drying out !
Hope everyone is staying safe and staying healthy !

If wind carries ya off to Kansas, BA, make sure you visit WD. Make him smoke some beast for you.

Chilaquiles! Sounds so good. Except for the occasional pizza, sandwich and frozen dinner, I haven't had food I haven't cooked in a year. I'm so sick of my own cooking.

During the pandemic, my favorite taqueria opened a location a mile from my house. No driving halfway across town to a neighborhood that is like a demilitarized zone, to wait in line for 40 mins. This location has a drive thru. (I hope it survives in a neighborhood that, over the past decade, has seen the taqueria on every corner replaced by a fair-trade coffee shop, craft brewery or trendy ramen restaurant. This place is hipster friendly; authentic feeling without cases full of tripas and chicarones to scare the vegans. They even have keto tacos and smoothies.)

Next week, I will be celebrating being 2 weeks from my second shot. My mom is releasing me from my promise not to get take out of respect for her fear of my getting covid. I plan to eat my way through the menu. Tues: Alambres -- asada, poblano, nopales, mushrooms, onion, avocado, and cheese with a stack of corn tortillas and side of all their sauces, except the one with habanero's, which make my split-ends smoke. Thurs: gorditas with pastor. Sun: torta Cubano.

Then on to La Playa Maya for a week of getting curbside delivery of the entire lenten menu: camarones al mojo de ajo, Veracruz-style fish, nopalas and eggs, capirotada.... So much for lenten abstinence, lol.

Rose licks her chops and smiles a fat, greasy smile.

For small errors, we have computers, the big one we do ourselves!

We have rain and storm. Trees are rocking and the dormer shaking and the wind is going a little through the scouring of the windows.
