Actually I wouldn't go up to the city , even for a shot ! I'll wait till it's available here. If that doesn't happen before spring , I'll try through IHS , like I said my brother's already had both his.

This morning it was 10 degrees with a wind chill that they said felt like -13 ! This afternoon it got up to a balmy 12 degrees with a feels like temp of -1. It has drizzled snow all day , heavily a few times and it looks like about 3/8th of an inch.
Bought a pretty blue blanket for our old horse Cisco , and he seems to like it and all the other horses are jealous ! LOL

Well...if your old bones are old, and you're not going anywheres, you don't need an old dumb shot. You can wait until spring when you thaw out of your chair.

Well, that weather pretty much guarantees that I won't be dropping in to visit anytime soon. It's supposed to be in the upper 70s in a few days here, then possibly hit the low 80s by Thurs.. I can't wait. Seems like my feet have been freezing forever.

Georgia is as confused as the rest of the country when it comes to giving out shots. A local grocery chain was giving them, but their slots filled up through the end of March. I'm waiting to see what happens with it. I wish there had been more testing done on people like me who are taking blood thinners and other meds.. To say I'm skeptical of what the governemnt says is putting it mildly.

My cardiologist'wanted me to dign up for MyChart so my records could be shared within their system. Also, I had to quarantine due to coming in contact with someone who tested Covid positive. I signed up for CVS MyChart to schedule a test.

To make the story longer, the hospital started scheduling Covid vaccines through MyChart. You have to be young, fast and handsome to catch the schedule when vaccines come available. They fill up real quick. Try to schedule towards the end of the dates listed. Everybody wants to be first. I got my first vaccine last week.

wardancer, be careful with the cod snap. It's coming your way. That means it's going to get icy and cold.

If KS is working like most of the rest of the country, you'll need to contact your local health department. Most states are now vaccinating 65+. You have been claiming to be a old guy :)

The county were my mom lives is doing a first come first served website, where you have to go every time they send a notification that they have released the next block slots. I haven't been able to get myself signed up for notifications, so I haven't been able to get her signed up. The county opened a phone line to help. But hackers intercepted the line and collected finical information from the callers.
