I have come to the conclusion that if I'm ever going to get going on my button blanket I have to stop ice fishing... (but it's so much fun...) Once we were on the lake along comes a pair of moose M/F.. they trip on past us giving us no notice. Gorgeous beasts. Heard through the local grapevine that there's a couple of old bears who didn't den this winter up in this area of the lake. Going to have to watch out for them.

Me needs more bandwidth as well, interwebs running slow tonight. Probably has something to do with transfering 17 Gigs of media...

What I'm trying to do is see how the video modes on DSLR cameras work with fast and high detailed motion, such as in this example of fancy dancers, the video was recorded with a Canon T2i, best watched in 1080p:

Well, I don't know if it was a buffering thing or what, but there was a lot of blurring at the end during the real fast close up.

And in the middle I couldn't tell if that guy stopped too early or if it was the video.

I can't believe I missed that powwow cuz of a stupid cold!

powwows are powwows....who would have one day thought people would be discussing hi def, resolution and all that digital mumbo jumbo when it comes to powwows?


we're still a bunch of greasy faces with half the children in attendance running around unsupervised

@ Wyo, for me it was buffering cause my internet was running really slow last night, we were transferring 17 Gigs of data. The blur you see is because that camera is a nice digital stills camera that happens to take somewhat decent video. I think the video stopped in the middle because of the camera, but it could just be a buffer issue or an error with the video itself.

G&B, I was doing camera comparisons last night and what better way to compare high detail and motion than a bunch fancy dancers. I think it should be a standard test for any video capable camera, lol...
