I used to be able to dance your basic American Waltz, but that's been quite a few years ago. In their younger days, both my parents used to teach dance, so they know all those dances: waltz, samba, cha-cha, foxtrot, swing, cotton-eyed joe, etc..Originally posted by Grits & Beans View Post

When I was younger, I thought all those old dances (where you actually held onto/touched your partner) were old-fashioned and boring. Now I've totally flipped. I see how most people dance now, and I just shake my head - no skill, no grace - just bouncing up and down. Dance floors just look like a big game of whack-a-mole! And don't even get me started on line-dancing!
If/when I get to Cuba for vacation, I intend to make some time for salsa lessons in Havana!
And, lately, I've really had this urge to learn how to C-Walk!

tell you what luda you go to vienna and i'll come too and we'll really show out and bust a little c-walk.......shoot we got soldiers in afghanistan and iraq over there c-walking c-walking going on in libya, egypt, tunisia....might was well take it to italy, england and france too
