I love Reuben sandwiches! For me it was one of those things that I didn't know I would like until I tried it. They taste really good when put through a panini press.

Reubens have been one of my favs. since I was little. I love me a good reuben! A little dressing is good, but I don't approve of the places that use Thousand Island Dressing instead of sauerkraut! If it doesn't have kraut it isn't a real reuben!

Yep! Claussen pickles! That's about the only kind I'll buy. I love their kosher dills and their bread and butter pickles!

Two other brands are good, too.

They're good, but are most definitely old school. It's a different experience than Claussen's (or Vlasic, or any of the other brands).

LOL. I've always driven my family crazy with that. I've never kept a neat/clean car.

My eldest brother once offered to wash/clean my car inside and out for $20 'cause he was embarrassed by how filthy my car was. I laughed at him and told him he could wash it if he wanted, but I wasn't paying for it. He's the one it bothered, not me!

My backseat's pretty much pristine - 'cause it's always been covered in trash, so it's hardly ever been exposed to light! I might break down and replace the headliner, though. The shreds hanging from the ceiling are starting to get on my nerves!

Claussen pickles are simply amazing, for jarred pickles. I am fortunate to live in an area where deli's are very common and so I can get a fresh kosher dill pickle right from the barrel. Not sure if that's the case out west. NYC, Philly, and the surrounding areas are known for their wide range of great food, a lot of which is German, Jewish, and Italian inspired. Philly is also known for it's crime but thats another story...

Yep! My car is usually the most disreputable looking one in the lot! LOL

I don't have the right clothes anymore to walk anywhere in Mpls. in mid-November! I'd freeze my @$$ off!

That's one thing I'm envious of your part of the country! We don't have anything like that here. We used to have two "NY Deli-style" places here, but they both closed. Well, one closed. The other got new owners and now it's Tex-Mex-NY Deli Fusion! Now it's just awful!

Not that we don't have great food here, too! Just not that kind of food. No out-of-the-barrel pickles for me.

Its one thing that I'm going to miss when I leave here, is the great food. I did dig around online and found a German butcher shop in Phoenix that supposedly has the best sausages and scrapple in the west... I'll be the judge of that, haha

I've never even SEEN a White Castle, or a real Reuben. But I'm sure I'll love both, especially a Reuben cuz I've always loved sauerkraut and I've taken a liking to rye bread in my old age. LOL

Or however you spell it...it's crazy I have a nephew and a cousin named Reuben and the other Rueben.

Wow did you know the earth spins 1039 miles per hour at the equator and if the earth suddenly stopped , the atmosphere would still be traveling at 1000MPH and scour everything down to bedrock!
