I sympathize with ya, Subeeds. One of the women here at work has had similar conversations several times with her son. He's in his mid-20's (not married, no kids). He followed a girl to Santa Fe - and had to be "rescued." Followed another girl to Corpus - had to be "rescued." Followed another girl to El Paso - called to be "rescued."

The third time she told him - Son, if you're old enough to , you're old enough to rescue yourself. There's a bed waitin' for you when you get here, but I ain't sending money or coming to get you!

(But I think she probably said it a lot harsher than that!)

That pretty much answers your question, Toolbox. LOL! This isn't the first time he has bounced back home because of a girl, but this is only the 2nd time we have had to rescue him. He followed a girl to London once and I made sure he had an open end round trip ticket. :)
He called today and things have changed yet again. Gulfport girl is going to take him to Albany, so he can get my grandson, then, a friend of his who is having an early Thanksgiving with family there, will bring them home Wed.. Wheeeeeew!! I swear, if he does this one more time with a girl he meets online, I will tie him in his room until he gets over it. He met one chick online he felt sorry for-she was a meth head and he has this knight in shining armor complex-and she just turned all our lives upside down. This was about 5 years ago. Last time we saw her, my husband had to literally hold me back from shooting her. What she did to my son (and us in the process) was that awful. People think bears are protective of their young, they've got nothing on a mama gator protecting hers. My kid is far from perfect, but don't screw him over when he's trying to help you. Took us three years to get the BS sorted out through the courts.

Sleeping 4 hours and working 10 is doing weird stuff to my mind. :)I am whipped and I've still got almost 7 hours to go. Woohoo!

Edited to add: It sure does do weird stuff. I just opened another online shop. It was free for life so I couldn't pass that up. (knock me out now, please.)

I keep forgetting that I've given up coffee and then I tend to regret it later.

I'm forcing myself to get into the habit of drinking tea. Hot tea, that is. I already drink plenty of iced tea!

Years ago I drank a lot of hot tea. Then, over time, coffee took over completely.

I finally told myself a few months ago - dude, you love hot tea. So sit your down and drink some!!!

So, I've made it a ritual. (Almost) Every evening around 9:30 I have a pot of tea. Usually either Earl Gray or Jasmine. But I'm also having fun exploring different sorts of teas. Spice shops, tea shops and online shopping has expanding my tea knowledge a lot!!!

While I was home over the weekend, just kicking back and enjoying some time alone, I was able to make myself some tea and drank quite a bit.

I found some green tea this morning and am having some at work. But I'm finding hot tea makes me HUNGRY....think I need some crumpets to go with...LOL

Is it me or are there a lot of spammers hitting lately? Maybe I just notice them more since I'm on here at odd hours with this night audit job.

Rose, hot tea makes me hungry, too. Constant Comment makes a great spearmint tea called Plantation Mint, if you like spearmint, it's great.

I got some sleep finally. Had a majorly weird dream (about partying with old friends, half of whom are now gone)but at least I slept. I think the dream could have come from what I ate before I went to sleep-4 large slices of New York Extra Sharp Cheddar and some crackers. I was still a little hungry, so I topped off the cheese and crackers with a piece of brownie with cream cheese frosting. Odd combination.

Edited to add: By noon tomorrow, I will have heard my little grandson say "grommet, wha' chew dewin"? I can't wait to see him. I'm not sure why grandma comes out "grommet". He also likes to give "soogar". that translates to "sugar" which translates to kisses. LOL!
