Good morning, all!!

French toast and waffles today! How everz you would like them!

French toast with bacon for me. Making waffles topped with sliced monzarella and chicken breast in honor of my mom, who would have turned 85 this week. Miss you Mom!!

Afternoon all, the wind has really kicked up.. gusting up to 90-100 km... and it's all the more lovely with the driving snow that has tagged along.

Hubby has been away for the last few days... new carpet is in finally and I'm happy with the results. Hubby so owes me for leaving mid-install... and leaving me to clean up and put the furniture back.

Got a pork roast on for dinner... be ready soon.

I smudged the back porch when I got home,to get it outside, and the bedroom, hoping to get some peaceful sleep. I said some prayers, too. I may take some flowers and smudge the spot where she was found, too, if this is still weighing on my mind in a day or so.

Yaahl, hope that wind doesn't give you too much trouble. Winds like that would be instant power out for us.
Pork roast sounds yummy. Wonder if I could hang glide on a kite to your place? LOL! If our wind was coming out of the SE instead of the NE, I might could make it.

We got chinese to go last night (Beef and Broccoli, Hot and Sour Beef Cubes, Happy Family, hot wings, and silver chicken) and picked up some RedBox movies. Horrible Bosses was pretty ok, and actually had us LOLing at some of the crazy things they say.

Gonna skip breakfast for now, working out with my kettlebells soon watching country videos, then try out some bulletproof coffee. Then fried up some breakfast rice and have the rest of the Happy Family.

Still need to cover some windows with plastic today. This little 1 bedroom house has 14 windows!! Not counting the 2 that are between the kitchen and the back porch. Getting ready to remodel the kitchen and I can't wait!! It will be nice to have more than 1 working drawer and some actual cupboard storage.

Wow thats a lot of windows... my house only has like 30 some windows but its 3 levels and a basement... you have just under half that and you only have 1 bedroom!

Your house sounds almost like mine-19 windows with 2 bedrooms. Our house was built in the early 60's (according to the date on the concrete in the back). Way before CH/A were around, so we've got all those windows to catch the breeze when it blows. There are 2 deep porches-12 ft. wide-one on the front and one on the back. Have fun with the kitchen remodel. Be sure to lay in a good supply of tylenol or something because it will give you headaches. Been there and done that. I can finish drywall, paint and lay tile if you need any help. LOL! I love doing tile work.
