It's been a manic Monday here. Managing 2 installs and finishing other work stuff before my vacation, which starts this weekend!

I can't wait. The weekend starts with my friend's wedding, I'm a groomsman so it's a Friday into Saturday ordeal. Then Sunday morning at the butt crack of dawn we are driving to the Outer Banks in North Carolina. My family rented a house for a week so we will be down there for a week straight. Going to rent a kayak and go fishing just about every chance I get. In years past we did the big powwow trips but they ended up being more work than vacation. Like last year we drove to far out in Nova Scotia for a powwow. Most of the time was spent driving and then getting ready for the powwow, dancing all day, and then going back to the hotel too tired to do anything then wake up and repeat and then drive all the way back. It was still fun. This big vacation will be 8 hours of driving and then a week of just relaxing then 8 hours back home. Still hitting up some powwows this summer but not as many in years past.

I'm also working on the finishing touches for my 2nd Grass Dance outfit, I have to back some beadwork yet so I will bring them down and grind them out at night or if the weather is bad one day.
