Those NDN tacos look yummy! I'll have one, please. I'm hungry but I"m almost too stressed to eat-said almost-hope you noticed that. LOL! Decided this evening after seeing the 5pm update on Hurricane Matthew to head inland to ride this thing out. Had a knot in my stomach for the last 24 hours trying to decide. Last update has it moving even closer to the coast, so it's bail out time. We are going to head about 50 miles inland, and hope we have a house left to come back too. With every new update, it keeps getting closer to the coast. We'll be leaving Thurs. morning when I get home from work. Started getting stuff packed up tonight after I got a hotel room secured for 3 days. Already having issues with hubby on what's going. LOL! I will bungee tie him to the roof if I have too. ROFL!

National Taco day and Taco Tuesday on the same day! We made tacos last night. I love me some tacos. I really miss those burrito stands out there in AZ.

Thanks OL. Now we are waiting. The worst isn't supposed to hit Camden County until late afternoon and tonight. We got to Waycross Ga., yesterday, so we are safe from the worst part of it. Will still get some, but nothing major. No trees gonna fall on us anyhow. Stress level higher than it's been in decades-strange bed, and not enough coffee yet. LOL! Will check back in later.

Well , at least you got out in time ! We were dodging tornadoes yesterday afternoon ! Tornado siren went off and we grabbed the dogs and headed to the basement ! Stayed till the siren quit.....maybe a bit longer. Never heard where they saw it though , maybe I'll find out today. We have about 5-6 storm spotters that go out and watch the sky when it gets real bad. One of them calls in when they see something for the siren to be sounded ! It rained its azz off though ! I had my wheelbarrow(big contractors type) sitting out in the middle of the yard and it was full ! LOL When I went to let the horses out after the storm there was prolly 6" of water running through the yard !Crazy !
I'll have some pancakes this morning , it was chilly out this morning !

My house is full of the smell of the pork roast slow cooking in the crock pot. We are having pulled pork BBQ sandwiches for dinner. My wife also made potato salad with blue potatoes we picked up at the farmer's market this morning - they really are blue!

We got home Sunday and found that the house is standing with no damage-at least that we can see. Everything that fell was considerate enough to fall away from the house. The yard is full of debris, so there will be a lot of cleaning up to do. Power was out but that came back around noon today, so things are a lot better.

The raccoon that hangs around showed up Sun. night, so we know he survived, but haven't seen the first deer track yet. They have to be out there, though. The view looking into the woods in a little different, lost a few trees there.

On a downer note, the dc jack in the laptop has died-and I have so many files I need on there. I'll be looking around to see where I can get it fixed and how much it's going to cost. I have to get some of those files off it! I'll be suing the work computer till then I guess.
