Coffee ! Alive and well , just really busy. Remodeling the house , repainting , building another shed for 2 horses , another chicken pen. Adding a room in the basement. Building on to both the front and back decks......and winter is coming and I'd like to have it all done before the first snow !
Besides , my advice always sucks anyway ! LOL

Ok, just bought enough coffee for a month across the border.

Coffee as much as you want.

Very reasonable. I am not used to very strong winters. The gulf stream is quite near but you have continental conditions. Yeah, than you are really busy.

Jet lag still, need more coffee and need more California. I came back from nice and mild weather to a sweaty humid arm pit. It has gotten slightly better here.

As for WD, all the coffee you want. You can have the extra thick coffee where the spoon will stick.

We got about 22°C but I am sweating like censored. Tommorrow we should get rain.

A bit of gossip and it's no joke: Being really astonished about the fact that it's not allowed in G. to (like some poor people do) to fish for some edible foods which got thrown away by supermarkets, nor anything other people have thrown away, It's called stealing since the trash belongs to other people. No joke. People in G. stealing trash may have to face procecution.

The temps are out of the 90's F. So fall is here. This weekend I'm making buffalo and green chile stew and pumpkin bread. I just got a bag of fresh roasted NM pinions for munching.

Planning on servin' up any of that stew here in the cafe?? (hint hint)

Nice to see WD is planning on herding still more chickens. Been there and done that. LOL! We had one Rhode Island Red that just roamed the yard. We named her Meanness, so that should give you a big hint on her temper. At one time, she was the only hen laying and she decided to lay some eggs in the fork of the oak tree-about 15 feet up. I needed eggs for a cake, so I got the ladder, propped it up against the tree and went for the eggs. I don't know where she was, but she came at me like an owl on a mouse. The eggs were in my shirt pocket, so they didn't break in my mad rush down the ladder. Hubby really appreciated the fact that I had gone through all that for his birthday cake, so...a couple of days later, we had some nice baked chicken and dressing.

Well, may be can convince WD to trade with the caffee management to sell chicken for chicken stew and enhance the menu.

Lot's of coffee is ready to be served. I heard a rumor that the caffee management is planing to have an happy coffee-cake-stew hour every day.

I"m ready for some coffee. Apple pie a la mode sounds good, too. Or blueberry pie-shoot, any kind of pie and ice cream. LOL!

Oh, pretty soon fresh cranberries will be in the stores. I'll be able to make cranberry-apple pies. The dried cranberries are just too sweet.

Right now it's pumpkin cake season. I'm gonna make one this week. I need to take ti to work, so I can only eat one piece, LOL

The remainder of that fast moving hurricane swept through here today and left me with a a leaf on my truck, a whole leaf was on my truck, took so much time (1 second) to get it off... Joking aside, we are fortunate to have only received a little rain from the past few hurricanes and nothing more, some people have had it way worse and are still dealing with the aftermath.

Anyways. Squash is in full harvest now so we had some delicious acorn squash for dinner tonight.

I have friends in St. Augustine who are still trying to recover from Matthew last year. Between their insurance companies and the government, they are getting screwed.
