You guys havin' a hurricane I didn't hear about? That's the only time I can even think about eating Spam. LOL!

It's been crispy hot here the last 10 days. Last weekend, the feel like temp hit 115. It's been raining too, so the air feels like it weighs tons. We're supposed to get about 3 inches or more of rain over the weekend. Yippee-not.

They've started logging some property near ours, I've been super mega alert going out to the car at night, for any displaced things that slither might be in a bad mood since they are now homeless.

    • Chuy, could I please have a bowl of shrimp and cheese grits?

All this talk of snakes has made me miss JD, LOL.

Well, I worked in the studio for two hours before work this morning. I made jump rings and a bail. I hate making jump rings. My thumbs are sore from hanging on to tiny coils of wire while I sawed. I couldn't find my "Gator Grip" tape.

I think accidentally threw away a $30+ sterling box clasp, when I was cleaning up after the alarm company. It was in a fairly grubby plastic bag. I've emptied every drawer in my bench and soldering area; gone through all my boxes and bins; and moved all the furniture. I suspect it hit the ground when I moved the bench so they could drill holes in the ceiling, and then I swept it up, with all the plaster dust and tiny plastic bags that had held various mounting screws and batteries. I'll either have to make one, which will take me a full day, or order a new one. Grrr.

Did two short tripe in the last three days with mom to liked places and driving through the country side.

        May be you'ld liked both.

          • Last day of holiday today. We start tomorrow with what is called "Nachprüfung".

Chance to graduate into the next class although the aim at the end of the year was failed, graduating into the next class.

LOL, October is the next vacancy and days are planned for mom.

Sigh, had hoped to enter retirement in august 2023 but it looks like becoming 2025 or end of january 2026. I still hope that I can attend at least one real (ndn) pow wow in my lifetime. In the past there seems have been real (ndn) pow wows in Germany.

            • Just a heads up. I plan to die tomorrow. It's going to be 104F. The humidity is going to be >70%. The heat indexes with be in the 110-115F range. Leaving work tomorrow, I'm going to open my car door, the blast of hot air will melt me like the wicked witch and I'll flow into the gutter outside the plant.

Subeeds, who's had this all summer, can stand over the drippings and laugh :)

              • I suppose 104°F in the shaddows but the question may be, where are the shaddows.

If there is a little wind, open the doors of the right and left side and stay out of the stream of hot air. You might cook eggs on the tin of the engine hood.

I would be desperate if you melt down.

                            • Driving crazy it seems doesn't need a storm. Normal days are already enough to get people driving crazy.

Holidays are over and you can see the normal madness in driving every morning and afternoon now. Beaming to and from work might be a good thing.
