  • Today a new box of those flapjacks with decorative eatable hazelnut kernel has been made.

For friends there is one flapjack with luck two.

LOL, it is only a very small box of them.

    • I know it's an old Tim McGraw song but I can't hear the phases Half-Breed and not think of this now that I've seen it.

A french fry shortage. You poor souls. Now you have to come to Belgium because we have them in abundance. In every village or town we have french fry stands. They are eaten with mayonaise and pickles and all kinds of sauces.
Besides that you can get vol au vent and beefstew, fricandelles, brochettes and many more.

I have no idea, it's a few hondred years agoo.

I know that the Nobility had plenty of food. The workers on the other hand were starving sometimes. We were dependent on grain but when there was a poor harvest we just died of hunger. And then came the potatoes and corn. That was a blessing for the poor people.

Anyone doing anything fun this weekend?

I'm getting a wasp's nest removed from inside a wall of my house tomorrow morning. A relief for me, but probably not fun for the wasps. Hopefully, there won't be too many ticked off, homeless wasps hanging around in yard by the afternoon. I want to work in my studio

                • Wasps are no fun, we haven't had much of a problem with them this year but we have been having major issues with the invasive Spotted Lantern Fly. Now that it's cold we are supposed to go and scrape their eggs off of the trees and destroy them with alcohol.

The Philly Wings play their first game of the season tomorrow, although it's on the road and not a home game, so I'll be watching that and eating some buffalo wings with a few cold lagers. We sponsored some of our family in Albuquerque for Christmas so off to the post office tomorrow to send them some Xmas goodies. More Christmas shopping, and maybe making some cookies.

Then I got a new security camera for our back yard so I have to build a mount and run some CAT5e into the house to get it connected into the server. Our back yard is open with no fence and people won't stop walking their dogs in our yard and not picking up after them. Also, the trash collectors are incredibly careless with the wheelie bins especially near our vehicles since we park out back.

If they have a chapter of NASA or AISES, you might contact them. In light of security concerns in modern campus culture, you might offer to buy pizza or snacks for one of their meetings.

That’s a great idea. It would be much more secure. I will get in touch with those organizations and ask them about WKU.

I swear the guys in the trash trucks with the robot arms have a point system:

Five points for dropping it on a car parked in the street (an additional 5 style points if you can drop it into the bed of a pickup).

Ten for dropping the bin squarely in the opening of the driveway, 25ft from where the bin was placed for pickup, forcing the returning homeowner to stop traffic while they clear their driveway.

Fifteen for dropping it in the middle of street, so it can be hit by the trash truck making the pass down the other side of the street.

Fifteen for hitting a car in the driveway (an additional 5 style points if it is with the bin from a different house).

You catch the golden snitch, if you manage to improperly grasp the bin and fling it over the top of the truck, spilling the trash in the street or onto a passing car.)
