Santa loves me too ! I got some night vision binoculars/with camera built in and a pair of "Old Timer" knives! I'm a happy guy ! Ches , if you need help with that sex change these knives are razor sharp !( I already touched them up , they'll shave frog hair if ya want) !I believe blood quantums are the governments way to breed us out of existance !

A big thank you to the Creator. I had a kitchen fire tonight. The fire department arrived just a my fire extinguisher ran out. So it didn't spread.
The cats are fine. There isn't much smoke damage. The range is a loss I think. But the house is ok.

Adrenaline is an amazing thing. My next door neighbor, who needs her hearing and eyesight checked, missed the entire thing. She didn't know anything happened until she reviewed her security camera footage. Of course I should talk, I only remember two of the five emergency vehicles that showed up. I didn't even notice I had burned my all my knuckles on one hand until half a day later when I was washing dishes yesterday and the blisters burst.
Clean up is proceeding, slowly since I'm not hiring help to clean up. I did get my handyman out yesterday to change the furnace filters and scrub out the oven to get reduce the smell until a plumber can get out to unhook the gas. This helps a lot with the smell. I've got the floors scrubbed and have laundry going. I've used two bottles of Fabreeze on the drapes and my two upholstered chairs. (I'm glad I bought a lot of wicker.) My fun vacation task for this afternoon is to wipe down the kitchen walls. I don't see any soot, but...
The holidays and covid really have things slowed down. I can't get a plumber for two weeks and the new range is going to take six weeks.
Amazon is supposed to deliver my first microwave today. Yippee, hot food.Comment

OLC-glad the FD had the good timing to arrive when they did.
We had an exciting Cmas. Eve.. It stormed like mad for about 20 minutes. The wind was close to hurricane strength, and if it hadn't been dark, we could have seen the rain coming down sideways. Found out there's a leak in the roof over the kitchen counter. LOL! As fast as the storm hit, it was gone. There were a couple of tornadoes about 30 miles south of us, but they just knocked out power and blew down some trees. Our power was out for not even an hour. Those linemen are amazing at what they do.
I'm still working on the stocking. I'm nearly done with it. I've got a crazy work schedule the rest of the month, not my usual days at all, but that's fine.
Happy New Year everybody! We'll be doing the basic southern NYD meal-black eyed peas over rice, cornbread and some sort of fresh greens. Whatever the guy on the side of the road has in his truck. LOL!Take nothing for granted. Life can change irrevocably in a heartbeat.

Well , today's weather is cool but nice ! Tomorrow however , is a different story. They are calling for ice and freezing rain ! Up to 1/2 inch of ice accumulation and the changing to snow and 1-3 inches of snow. If it moves a bit we could get quite a bit more ! Eek ! Things to do today : turn a big bale of hay for the horses , make sure the generator is ready , find all our big heavy extension cords , Pray it misses us ! LOL Probably start all the trucks , just in case.....Looks like winter is gonna hit us all at once !I believe blood quantums are the governments way to breed us out of existance !
