It was Tuesday. I'm happy. I just had my alambres -- loads of peppers, cactus and mushrooms, with just enough steak. Too few corn tortillas or too much food; I'm not sure which. I had to warm a couple flour tortillas to fill in the gap.
My Siamese ate a quarter of the chipotle crema while I was nuking the tortillas. I'm not sure how this is going to sit with her kitty tummy.

Was rudely awakened about 5 this morning ! Hail ! About the size of a quarter. So , this is Kansas , when you get hail you should prepare to find shelter from that tornado that usually trails along just after ! Generally right before a tornado everything stops ! The rain , hail , wind , everything ! That's when you know you better get safe quickly cause at that point you have about 2 minutes ! Luckily for us the storm raged on ! Another 2 inches of rain.Tonight they say we'll get a couple more.And maybe a couple more tomorrow ! The rivers around here are already bank full. After some more tomorrow though it will all clear out and we'll be 60 and sun on the weekend !Everyone stay safe , stay healthy , and try to stay dry ! Oh it's been a busy week ! LOL My son "G" and his family have been here since Saturday and it's been fun. Got my 2nd covid vaccine today , so hopefully things will get back to some sort of normalcy !

Mom has her second shot since last Friday and she wears her mask though she doesn't like it but does not complain.

Actually I found an up side to wearing a mask.
I have a very expressive face. It gets me in trouble some times. Now with all these Zoom meetings, there you are camera focused right on your face. But I've had a couple meeting with folks working inside my house, so I had to wear a mask. No getting into trouble for that inadvertent grimace and smirk. LOLComment
