    • Good morning!! Putting the coffee on, and I'll try to light the fire. If I take my time, I think I do it without smoking up the place. Usually I only burn garlic toast.........(whoosh) there, got it.

              • Good morning, Lady Di. We get a couple more inches at least once a week. So we still have around a foot total. But it's been bitterly cold the last few nights. Like 20 below or so.

At least my car starts, and my water's not freezing up. (knock on wood) The air's nice and crisp, and the snow has a good crunch when you walk.

Take on what? There's too much damn drama going on around here. What's the point in making on-line friends if they are just going to walk away. :( Man, whoever leaves and we were friends, I CARED ABOUT YOU! HOW CAN YOU DO THAT?

                            • Congrats, Traci!! Hang in there. Here comes a virtual High-Carb breakfast feast. :p

Some people I work with (who are skinny as rails) say that when they feel a few pounds creeping on, they'll do the diet for a couple weeks. As for me, I'm trying to make it a way of life to control my blood sugar - and lose weight, of course!

But it's hard:Cry and I've fallen off the wagon once a day with some hi-carb stuff I can't seem to pass up.

Have you tried the low-carb bread and pasta? I was wondering if it was worth the money (because it does cost more than regular stuff).

                                  Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has info on recipes for beef soup and frybread to feed 200-300 people at an outdoor powwow? My step-father passed and we would like to honor him with a feed but have never done this before. I would appreciate suggestions on recipes, ingredients, cooking times, equipment...

If you were forces to live on a small Iceland, big enough to do a powwow dance, alone, what would you bring with you?
There are off course fresh water and enough fruits to survive on your Iceland.
And it's hot enough to not fresh at night.
BUT no electricity, so sorry, you would...
