Hip-hop star Sean "P. Diddy" Combs has been ordered to pay more than $21,000 a month in child support to an ex-girlfriend with whom he has an 11-year-old son.

The order, issued Thursday by the New York Supreme Court's Appellate Division, came after Combs appealed a Westchester Family Court ruling last year that he should pay $35,000 a month. He currently pays about $5,000.

The ex-girlfriend, Misa Hylton-Brim, had sued for higher monthly payments and about $398,000 in back support for their son, Justin.

The appellate court judge awarded a lower but undisclosed amount in back support and ordered Combs to pay Hylton-Brim's legal fees. The judge set monthly support payments at $21,782.

Rob Shuter, a spokesman for Combs, said Combs would appeal the decision to the state Court of Appeals.

While separated from girlfriend Kim Porter, Combs, 35, was also sued for child support for their son, Christian. He pays Porter, a model, about $30,000 a month.

Either these women are gold-diggers or he needs to keep "Mr. Puffy" in his pants!

sooo how much is too much for one kid...? how much would you ask for? would it change if the guy left you for another woman....? if you felt uses or somehow scorned would that add more cash to the amount.....lol

Okay $30,000/month for child support, let's see:

$10,000 in an account for his/her college
$5,000 in a new wardrobe
$5,000 to get the rest of the necessities he/she needs
$10,000 for them to spend as they choose.



How can anyone spend that kind of money in a month? I say sock it away in an account that the child cannot access until they are 25 or 30.

Like he should really care... how much does that man make a year? Let's just hope that if the mother of the kid is smart enough to not work she spends that time with the kid and not just with the money.

Whooa there's lot more to it than all that. Amount of money don't count for what that woman did by bringing a life into this world. Takes a lot more from a woman then a man. And maybe some women don't spend cash on their kids but i'll tell ya Kids are expensive. They way people treat single moms, that money is well deserved.

If you play together pay together and men shouldn't be always running on the other side of the fence!!!!

I'm sure P. Diddy makes millions. He can afford some of that change to his kids. If I was getting that much money, I wouldn't worry about anything. $360,000 a year. Okay now, that is alot of money. 50 don't worry, I'm sure you have some fall back plan right. LOL!! kidding.

I'd save most of that money on the kid's education and invest the rest............and get more money!

Not really injunboy, we do spend money on our children. The women in that category is the selfish ones who worry about themselves more than their children. I always make sure my daughter and my husband comes first before me. I just feel like if I'm going to live in this world, I'd do it with dignity and never walk with regret.......almost like if i don't do enough for them, I feel bad.

Every time you turn around your kids are one hundred bucking you to death. Every sport they are involved in costs at least that. That doesn't include gas to and from practices and games. Good runners or soccer boots for the games costs about $100.00 My kids have all reached the age where a cheap pair of pants even at Walmart cost $30.00, never mind designer ones. Then they all like to eat at least 3 times a day. Course its better than them hanging out with their friends getting into stuff.

HIGH 5!! well said... cant lump ALL women into a selfish category... MOST women Do spend money on thier kids.. infact ALL the money goes to their kids. WOMEN will most often think of themselves last and when we do think of ourselves we end up feeling guilty cause we thought of ourselves at all.

So yes granted there are women out thier that are vain and selfish and ignorant and greddy JUST like there are men out there just or if not worse. P Diidy shoulda looke dafter his kids from the get go... So maybe HE was being the slefish one.. ITS not like he cant afford it.. he obviously could afford to play... So well now comes the price of that palying.
30,000 yeah its ALOT to US that are not accustomed to living THIER lifestyles..

If the woman wants to put her kid in hockey fer example, or any other sport .. that alone fer one season is over 5,000 dollars... then ya add his other extra cirricular events, clothes , transportation, lunches entertainment... bl bl bla... 30,000 gonna go really fast (leaving sum for a rainy day fund) so whats wrong with that?

So lets just be happy that one more child can sleep well at night knowing that he gets to have a good life that he wont have to worry where his next meal comes from or where hes gonna go to school. We should be happy that these kids will have opprotunity. Sure it really doesnt compensate fer not having 2 parents in the family.. but the kid is at least gonna have a chance... thats whats important...
