Native American Chat

Back in the mid 90's the there was a Native American chat room going strong. Hundreds of natives would fill the room almost daily. Lots of fun and crazy things went on. Along the way people made friends, some got to meet in person, some just friends in cyber space. Even a few romances bloomed along the way as well.

I've wondered what ever has happened to alot of those people. I went by the handles BluenRed, Oh_buhhhh and USDA Not For Sale or Trade. Since the chat room's demise, I have managed to keep in touch with a couple of them, such as Grass5/Rice Chaser and Sahnish, but lost touch with many others.

I was wondering how many of the old NAC'ers are now part of pow-wow.com. Some of the handles I can remember from back then are Senklip, Bingo Orphan, Tahpwe, Meyasin, Grsdncr, Makayle, Niwijagin, Jinglin Sue, Cayuse Kat, NDN Mizz, Commod Bod and .......

I'm just seeing how many old NAC'ers are hanging around....

The chat room was part of a community of chat rooms, hosted by WBS.

OMG! I remember you!!! I met you and Emo (Rice Chaser) @ Denver March pow-wow in 97. It was crazy! I had a really bad sunburn and I was all peely when I met you guys. *LOL*

In WBS, I was known was A/C REZ GIRL. Back then I was living in Albuquerque. Now I'm back home in southeast Texas.

Dang, back then I was Sidahkwe. Senlip is on here and I can't remember for the life of me what her handle is LOL. Makaylee that I know of, doesn't get on pow-wows and I finally got to meet her last night....

It was a lot of fun, then WBS shut down, oh well, there is always Yahoo.

Been to the yahoo and it is lame. All the wannabe gangster thing is dumb. Some nice folks there onceinawhile, but mostly its blows and when I'm bored, I'll check out the chatrooms once in a blue moon...speaking of, typing it up now..aaayyyyeesss....
And can't forget all the pornbots and spammers and look at my webcam folks on yahoo.

I ran across this website the other day.... There is a few of the old chatters posting there. Its not a the streaming chat room of the old days, but a message board similar to this.
