Anything Special On Your Christmas Tree?

The Christmas present thread got me to the thoughts of getting ready for Christmas. With no kids at home anymore, I don't do anything special for other occassions, just Christmas and I tend to go overboard on it. I love Christmas!! Anywayz, I have a pretty mesh heart that my daughter gave me many years ago that goes right on the front - eye level of our Christmas tree every year. How about you?

I have a Snoopy/Woodstock ornament my mom got the year I was born. Well, she hasn't given it to me yet. *L* But it's mine. It has Merry Christmas and the year. It's pretty special to me. That's about it.

..i have a reallllllly old Winnie the Pooh tree skirt and i always put up all the Christmas ornaments the kids made since they started skool:o)

I like to put birds and feather ornaments onmy tree. I like to make all the ornaments myself too. I still can never come up with a good idea for my tree topper.

I lost a lot of my homemade ones by my children that were in a storage that got flooded. Sad. Cause they meant a lot to me.

I agree the way we deal with loss is what makes us stronger and helps us to deal in the right ways. its better to appreciate what you had then be discouaged by what you dont.

My whole tree is special since my grinch hubby bought it for me so I would have more room for my ornament collection. Along with a few ornaments the kids have made over the years the most special is the our 1st. Christmas ornament that my hubby bought me years ago.
