I'm an indian maiden in search of my brave. I enjoy going where you go and doing what you like to do. I will braid my hair everyday (on both sides) and wear my headband and my fake leather indin dress (with the fringe and crap) that barely covers my azz...all for you. The one who will be mine to take care of my poor defenseless self. I enjoy nights by the fire in the teepee (or hogan) and horseback riding.

i hate it when true native american women get stereotyped
i will not allow my self to put mself forward as someone looking for a brave......its an extenuation of some pretty derogatory stereotypes.

i hope the younger generation native maerican women can put them selves forth to the world with dignity and self respect

real native maerican women are serene, well spoken, loving, nurturing people

For realz man. -i had a good laugh when i read this thread.

There's a time to stand up against people who try to perpetuate the indian maiden stereotype. But there's also times when it's so ridiculous that you wouldn't want to damage your blood vessels from the hyper tension caused by smoldering anger, that all you can do is have a really good laugh that makes your tummy ache instead.
