well.. hmmm.... my hair is black, my eyes are nearly black, both my dogs are black, half my ward robe is red or black.. my favorite colors are red and black... uh... I have two cousin's who's kids are half black... hmm... some of my friends are black or part black... my new traditional dress is black with red rosebuds... I think that's about it.

Well to answer your thread, I use the "n" word sometimes without thinking of it, but that's because I was around them for a long time in the miltary and it rubs off of you....I don't mean the "n" as in "n*****", but "n" as Navajo (WHATCHA THINK I WAS GOING TO SAY? SHEESH). HOPE I DON'T OFFEND ANYONE OUT THERE! IF I DO YOU CAN THROW STONES AT ME LATER. But, I like the color black. We have a few black sheep running around the rez, the new powwow cd's have the word "thug" in it, (what else), my best friend's boyfriend was black, I love listening to 50 Cent (so is this the black you are asking for or what?)

Or.....not to be so political, I wear black clothes, Blackstone and Blackfeet Confederacy is one of my favorite drum groups........can't think of anymore. For now I'll just chill and see what others are coming up with.

Well when it comes down to it I like the Wu Tang Clan from Staton Island,Eazy E,and Juicy J.I dont listen to Country cause their WHITE.I like Black Lodge ,Black Stone,and Black Eagle and have some Blackfoot friends.Been around blacks from here to TX ,and TX to CALI.So in the end I say 65%Native,20%Black,15%,white...Is that what you asking?

so the first few lines had me worried then you had me smiling, very well thought out reply. very good stuff.

anyway how black is my red? many balck friends as well as my beautiful son is half black half ojib. i have never understood why so much hate on black people they never did anything to us as a people, the whites we seem to tolorate more. back on my rez alot of my fam are racist towards both races but more so it seems to blacks. now mind you this does not apply to our children, as the blackness is over looked. this angers me also but you can only change one thought at a time. when i was dating my sons father i would not have thought to bring him up, because at some point one of my cousins would let the drink speak for him and i would have ended up fighting my own cousin. as for the other stuff i have a black cat and some black cloths and due to the aboe mentioned hatered my heart is a little black. to my children black is just another color in the box
