gallon of milk: $2.98 (Wally-world special)
gas: $ 2.57 a gallon (cheaper if u buy a car wash to go w/ it!)
Steak Din-Din: $ 25.00 bucks will get u a good tastin' steak @ Applebee's or Outback!

1. Don't smoke, so I'm not sure

2. Free...we have a milk cow(and ain't it loads of fun milking at 5:30am when its freezin'-azz cold)

3. $2.49/gal for 87 octane

4. About $15 for most restaurants. Some of the fancy-shmancy ones can go $50-$100. But I don't go there. We butcher a steer each fall, and bag at least a couple of deer, so we have plenty of steak on the freezer.

You know what I'm really curious about is rent or realty... I know california and new york city beat Alaska by a mile... but we rented a house, 3 bedroom, bath and a half, carport... basic average sized not very large house about 8 years ago. Back then we were paying 1200.00 a month for this house which was CHEAP considering the average rent for a home like that was 1800.00. And we had a cool landlord.
A house in anchorage .. basic 2 bedroom one bath , kitchen , living room , laundry and maybe a garage (no basement).. 100,000.00. My grandmothers' house in IL was bigger than that and it was only 30,000.00.

2. my daughter drinks lactose free skim milk only , and that only comes in half gallons for 3.99 so a gallon would be $7.98. regular milk for me i think is $2.89
