Start looking for the increase of sales on Ebay. I am starting to sell stuff there this week to pay for gas and a plane ticket.

Normally, you'd hear me say, 'yeah get the silverado'
    however
i'd do some long over that
    because
    coming from a silverado owner
it'll make ya twinge a lil'
    with ever fill up
when i first bought my lil' girl = aprrox 65.00
    now
to fill 'er up now = approx 115.00 to 120.00

    In Idaho...

The Lasttime I Looked Gas Was Around $2.59 Ish But That Is Going Up Like Every Day Over Here On The Rez. The Whites Come Out To The Rez Because The Gas Is A Lot Cheaper Than In Town.

That Makes Me Mad Wish Bush Would Just Retire

Here they are saying it is because of the kind of gas. On the East Coast they have gas for the winter and the summer, the summer gas is made from Ethanol. Supposedly, there has been a problem with Ethanol. My hubby says that is bullsh*t that they are just trying to get our money.

    Wicked prices

Dang.. price was $1.137 per litre yesterday, so with the conversion of litres to gallons (x3.79) it works out to $4.31 a gallon up here in Northern Ontario....

Does anybody remember in the late 1970's when the media announced the reason gas prices were drastically rising is "because fossil fuels were being used up?"

My best friend works in the oil industry and travels worldwide. He said "there is plenty of fossil fuels still available. We're just going to have to invest in deeper drilling oil equipment to get to it."

Do you think the the media will ever share this information?

lots of factors for the hi gas. Gulf War II is one reason. Another is Katrina, Another is the decline of refineries in the US. Driving season is upon us, Lastly Iran is playing games which is really going to raise the price. Oh and lets not forget the emerging economies of india and china.

I also forgot to add that the highest gas (in the US) was in the state of California ($3.77 a gal.) and the lowest gas was somewhere in Wyoming ($2.29 a gal.).

I know it's bad. . . but it could be worse....

Some Europeans are paying what is equivalent of $6.00 a gallon!

Good Morning America had a representative sharing her views on why gas is so expensive.

She used words like, "speculation, amid growing concerns, forecast" that Iran will produce unstablility. Iran is currently the #4 top producer of oil in the world.

I would hate to think what if "speculation and growing concerns" actually turns into reality?

HOW MUCH MORE WOULD THIS WOULD JUSTIFY RAISING GAS PRICES?

Earlier gas prices jumped to $70 a barrel because, the effects of hurricane Katrina were "still lingering."

So YOU and I have to bear the burden of outrageous gas prices when there is speculation and linger?

    HMMMMMMMMM?????????
