$2.99 outside of Chicago. Hate to see what it is in the city!! I buy corn gas for 30 cents cheaper.

Calumet Oklahoma, it's $2.75 today. El Reno, where I got gas yesterday is at $2.63, not bad I guess when the national average is $2.79.

i never thought i'd see the day when gas would be 2.99 a gal...because of this i've had to rethink a trip down to the jersey shore that i had told my daughter an her friend i'd take them on...so much for jus putting in 5 buxs huh...
i refuse to watch the news anymore cuz really...i'm jus tired of it all...but i have my own lil theory here on the upage of gas....
i think that since bush keeps gettin shot down on drilling up north...hes in cahoots with his big oil buddies and the jackin up of the prices...so this way bush can come out and say see...this is why we need to drill up north and "rely" on our own resources...

well we hit 2.79 today, earlier this week i got it for 2.68 and news sez good possibility of 4 by sometime summer, although i see some have already hit that mark (my condolences). Ive even folded and turned our suv into a little 4door (i die a little ever day lol)

it ranges from $2.90 to $3.00 around here in the southwestern part of CT. just heard on one of the radio Stations out of New York that there is a station that is charging $4.25 a gallon. they were doing it as a test. only one taker for that price.Bahnisiain

So I'm thinking about going and buying a full-sized Silverado. But, the gas prices are scaring the shyt out of me. I got my little honda putter to offset the gas use by a big pickup.

Good Morning America had a representative sharing her views on why gas is so expensive.
She used words like, "speculation, amid growing concerns, forecast" that Iran will produce unstablility. Iran is currently the #4 top producer of oil in the world.
I would hate to think what if "speculation and growing concerns" actually turns into reality?
HOW MUCH MORE WOULD THIS WOULD JUSTIFY RAISING GAS PRICES?
Earlier gas prices jumped to $70 a barrel because, the effects of hurricane Katrina were "still lingering."
So YOU and I have to bear the burden of outrageous gas prices when there is speculation and linger?

gas prices here $2.74 on a few gas stations and this morning one gas station was $2.82...here in Fargo ND. OUt in Billings Montana we got gas a a station for 2.43...that was on Friday/Saturday14/15 .
