Request to Native Warriors

I wanted to post a request.
I volunteer at a small Native American museum here on the Outer Banks-
Frisco Native American Museum. We are adding new exhibts this year and
wanted to do something for our Warriors. We are asking people to send
regiment patches, hats, photos, names or stories from their service.
Obviously nothing of a security risk nature.

That would be great! We have a few Rez police patches already, and so military hats but nothing that makes it personal. We try to "educate" the whites so they know something other than hollyweird stuff about Native peoples. We even started a Pow Wow just so they could see real dances- there is horrible play here called "The Lost Colony" you know the "poor settlers and the big bad indians" crap.
We have managed to change some minds.
Every little bit helps.

Have pix from when I was in Panama, Desert Storm, Afghanistan, and Iraq. But, most are in storage back in the States, except for the Iraq pix of course. Those are here with me. Will send some from Iraq...Good luck with your museum.
