I had one this morning, I was loading up my gear to go teach my ceramics class and double checked to make sure I had gotten all the paint I needed to take. Really looked around good. Got to the center and realized I had forgotten the big gallon jug of clear glaze! With students arriving I had to send my teen back to the house to get it. Since it was sitting next to the front door, she's not going to let me live it down for awhile.Courage is just fear that has said it's prayers.Comment

Yeah..... cat scan came back ok...... still need some more tests done. Thanks for askin.
No....haven't tried contacts..... last time I went to have my eyes checked they wanted to give me bifocals and I didn't want em..... so I don't know how contacts would work with me.

Well my latest trick was heating up some taco meat and cheese.....ok. Welllllll......... I going to spoon that and drop some on my hand on the base of my index finger. Man alive that was hot!! I tried flicking it off but it stuck and was burning the crap outta me. What did I do???? Licked it off my hand and burnt the crap outta my tongue.

About the time I finally "gave in" and got the bifocals - I found out I needed two pair of them: one pair so I can see the computer screen and keyboard, one pair of bifocals for everything else. Now I have TWO pair of glasses to keep track of and (consequently) two pair of glasses to try to find.Originally posted by Mato Winyan
To make it even more possible that things will go a awry - when I bead I need to take the glasses off because neither reading lower half of pair 1 NOR keyboard seeing lower half of pair 2 are right to be able to see beads, eyes of needles, etc. So the usual scenario is me yelling for someone to "Come help me find my glasses!!" because without -any- glasses I need a pair to find the two pairs I have mislaid when I settled in to work on a project.... cheez

OMG!! That is soooooooo me!! I have to bead without glasses too! I don't know what I'm gonna do........I noticed that a couple times I reach up to take my glasses off so I can see better and here they are already off!!!

Actually people from around home have been asking me if this Gun Lake guy is my long lost brother or cousin or something. First time I saw his pic, all I could think of was "Did my Dad find a time machine or something?" Looks just like my Dad did when he was 50 something....

Could be a distant cousin, I know several in our family married into other tribes over the years. People they orginally met at pow wows, school ect... You should contact him and see what happens.Courage is just fear that has said it's prayers.Comment

I have bifocals. Still overlook the things I'm looking for. Hubby says I need a chip to help me find mine when I set them down. Of course if he would QUIT moving them from the bathroom vanity to somewhere else in the bath when I'm in the shower it would help!
Warning! Don't set wire rims down open where a cat can lay on them. Got a pair of mangled frames that way once.Courage is just fear that has said it's prayers.Comment

I was talking to a friend online and asked......... "how many times am I going to have to squirt this cat to stay off of my material?? " she said.... " and he's probably asking....... how many times do I have to get on this material before she quits squirting me!!??!! "

We have 3 rescued cats, all over 10 pounds, and all house cats. Hubby says they are our version of cheap enterainment. I asked him if he had taken a look at the Vet bills?! Cheap?!
